I was attending a lovely spring wedding this year and took special notice of the bride’s color palette. The color of the bridesmaid’s gowns, and their bouquets, paid a subtle and gentle compliment to the center pieces and pew flowers. It was nice to see that everything was not so... “matchy-matchy”. A soft palette of ivory, peach and gold were the perfect fit for this happy bride. She carried a bouquet with David Austin Peach Garden Roses, Vendela Ivory Roses, and a small accent of gold seeded eucalyptus.
The balance of texture and color revealed a willingness to express a style that is not often seen these days. It was refreshing, light and added to the atmosphere of love and commitment between the bride and groom.
